About Dr. Rekha Prashant Prabhu

Dr. Rekha Prashant Prabhu is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at our Vijayawada center, with over 25 years of experience in women's healthcare. She specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies and advanced gynecological procedures, with a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and gynecological endoscopy.

She completed her MBBS and Diploma in Gynecology & Obstetrics (DGO) from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore (MAHE), followed by a DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Father Muller Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore. She further enhanced her surgical expertise by completing Basic Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy training in 2011.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rekha has held several academic and clinical positions, including Senior Registrar at JNMC, Belgaum, and Assistant and Associate Professor at NRI Medical College, Mangalagiri. She also served as a Consultant at Rainbow Hospitals, Vijayawada, before joining Ankura Hospital.

She was invited as a speaker at the Yuva FOGSI National Conference, Vijayawada, in 2018, reflecting her active involvement in academic forums and continued commitment to advancing women's healthcare.
